Historical Background:
All Saints’ Parish Rejaf East is the first and the oldest Parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba. As the monument of faith, it originated in 16th July 1919 as a result of Missionary activity of the Comboni Fathers, Brothers and Sisters. And by history, it is the mother church of the three dioceses:
The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, the Catholic diocese of Torit and the Catholic diocese of Yei. All Saints’ Parish Rejaf is bordering St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Gumbo to the North and St Matthew’s Parish at Lo’bonok to the South. It is bordering with St. Joseph the Worker to the East and St. Theresa’s Parish to the West.
STRUCTURE OF THE PARISH
The Parish consists of three centers.
- Main Parish Church Centre: Holy mass in Bari
- Nativity Chapel in Kit: Holy mass in English
- Gwuduge Outreach, which is still to be developed into a chapel.
